Our Candidates

Scott Heil

Scott is married, he and his wife Andrea have 4 children currently enrolled in VVSD with kids in Grade school, Junior high and High School levels. Scott lives in Romeoville and has resided in the Valley View district for over 30 plus years.  He is a proud Graduate of Bolingbrook HS, Class of 2001. Scott Heil is very active volunteer in the VVSD community and currently servers as Athletic Director for Romeoville Flag Football association. He is actively involved in the Romeoville Recreation Association; serving the T-ball & Coach Pitch programs as well as youth Basketball, the Romeoville AYSO Soccer and Bolingbrook Trojans football. He is a Volunteer and financial Supporter the Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation

Scott Heil doesn’t just believe in giving back to the community, he does it. Recently appointed to fill a a vacancy on the Valley View School Board, Scott will work to ensure that school dollars are spent where they have the most impact to provide optimal learning opportunities for All Valley View students. Scott believes in good school financial management is critical and what he and the VVSD community demand. Living in the VVSD he knows the value the schools bring to the Bolingbrook and Romeoville communities and will work ensure that that all residents are have are heard. Scott holds Bachelors degree in Accounting from North Central University.

Jennifer “Jen” Shroba

Jennifer and her husband Dave, have 4 children, all graduates of Bolingbrook High School. Jennifer has lived in Bolingbrook for 21 plus years. Jennifer has served in many volunteer capacities over the years she has been a resident of Valley View School District including Serving on the Board of Directors for the Panther Sports Club, as well as Coaching community Soccer, Basketball, Softball and Volleyball in various programs. Mrs Shroba, a Girl Scout Leader for 15 years, served in the capacity of the Service Unit Manager to Girl Scout troops in both the Romeoville and Bolingbrook communities. Jennifer is very active at St Dominics Parrish, serving in various capacities over the years, including recruitment and development as well as youth and adult ministry programs. Jennifer is also a certified volleyball official for Illinois High School Athletics Association (ISHA) and has been active in coaching clinics over the years. Jennifer attended Towson State University and studied in International Business. I am running for Valley View School Board because I feel very strongly that the children of our district deserve every opportunity and tool to help them succeed in life. I believe in the mission of the board to empower al learners to be college, career and life ready, and to develop, grow, and achieve as productive citizens. I believe the schools are doing a great job and have a story to tell for all to hear. As with all aspects of life there is always opportunities to enhance and strengthen and I would like the opportunity to be able to do just that for the current students and the future students of Valley View School District 365U.

Victor Zack

Victor Zack has been resident in the Valley View School District for over 30 years. Residing both Bolingbrook & Romeoville. Vic and his wife Patti have three children, all graduates from Romeoville High School. Victor has been a very active volunteer community leader serving in numerous capacities locally and regionally for many years including: Past Board Treasure & Trustee for White Oaks Library; Member of Romeoville Historical Society; Member of Hampton Park Social and Athletic Club (providing dollars for local youth and adult programs). Victor Zack serves as Board Member for the Joliet Regional Port District. Victor currently serves as the Vice President of Valley View School Board since 2017. Victor currently serves as a board member for Wilco Area Career Center since 2017. As a licensed Realtor and business owner, Victor understands the cruical realtionships between schools, communities, and the housing market. He is mindful of how real estate taxes impact property values and works to ensure that school funding is allocated efficently to support students and maintance facilities. Victor is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors and the local Three Rivers Association of Realtors. Member of Knights of Columbus St Andrews Parrish. Victor Zack and his family and regularly contribute to such charities United Way of Will County, American Cancer Society, the Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation. Supporter of youth programs throughout Romeoville & Bolingbrook 

Victor Zack holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Elmhurst University.

James “JT” Boudouris

  • Romeoville resident for over fifteen years. 
  • Married to Olga with daughter attends Mitchem Early Childhood Center.
  • Local business owner for 10 years
  • Active member of Hampton Park Social and Athletic Club and the Illinois Insurance Association.
  • Regular supporter of Romeoville youth sports programs,  RHS Athletic Boosters,  F.O.C.U.O.S., Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation and March of Dimes.
  • Served on the Finance Committee.

Steven Quigley

  • Bolingbrook resident since 2001. 
  • Married to Marion with two sons, both of whom are recent graduates of BHS and now attending college.
  • Member of the Bolingbrook Lions Club, Hampton Park Social and Athletic Club, and Loyal Order of Moose.
  • Community youth coach for baseball, basketball and football programs.
  • Contributor to Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation, Heart Haven Outreach, FOCUOS, United Way of Will County, St Baldrick's, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Illinois Conservation Foundation, and the Humane Society as well as other charitable organizations.
  • Local business owner.
  • Past member of the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus Steering Committee & Education FundingTask Force, Southland Convention and Tourism Board of Directors, and Suburban Purchasing Cooperative Board.

Vickie Sutterlin

  • Bolingbrook resident since 1987. Daughter who graduated from BHS.
  • Retired teacher from Valley View School District.
  • Served on numerous District and building committees 
  • Former Union President of the Valley View Council and Vice President of Local AFT 604.
  • Active in the community by volunteering for various organizations including Friends of Library, Cavalcade of Planes, Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation, Heart Haven Outreach
  • Bolingbrook Civic and Cultural Affair Committee member for 8 years
